Description: Clareville Beach is the perfect beach for families who have little ones, as there aren't any waves. Whether you have a baby, a toddler or children that aren't very confident in water, they will have an awesome time at Clareville Beach. You will also find that Clareville Beach is no where near as busy as some of the other beaches located in nearby northern beaches suburbs.

The protected bay of Clareville Beach is fairly shallow making it easy for little ones to splash about in safety (under adult supervision of course). The sandy beach is beautiful and clean making it ideal for sand castle building and playing a game of beach cricket. In the bay you will find many boats that are owned by local residents. Some of these residents may live in one of the lovely beach houses that front on to Clareville Beach. Stand up paddle boarding is also a popular activity at Clareville as the water is so flat, making it the perfect spot for beginners.

There are beautiful old shady trees growing on the foreshore of the beach which provide the ideal spot to set up a picnic and there are also BBQs available so that you can bring your own lunch etc. The Clareville Kiosk is also located close to the beach but it is a fine dining restaurant that is only open for lunch Friday - Sunday and dinner on Wednesday - Saturday. Sadly you can't pop in there for a popsicle.

Just a word of warning the beach's car park is quite small and fills up quickly so it is wise to arrive early in the morning to score a spot as there is only limited street parking nearby.
