This huge park is located in Galston and will keep kids occupied not just for hours, but for days, as there are so many different features to be discovered.
The North American Cottage
The space is most often used for family picnics and there are plenty of shelters, tables and barbecues around, some with impressive views. Five large shelters are available for hire.
There's also a large playground near the Arcadia Road entrance, with many different pieces of equipment, including slides and swings (one of them can even be used by those in wheelchair).
In September each year, the park hosts the Hornsby Shire Bushland Festival, which is very popular with families.
