The fantasy cups

Its inevitable. The moment you walk into the show you will come across a few different exhibitions, showbag displays and other displays where, if your child successfully throws the hole in the clowns mouth at the right time, they win the prize they want, ultimately and ideally. This area is just a warm up of the best that is yet to come before its time to talk to the animals, literally. Welcome to the Kids Carnival: home to a multitude of rides, toy stalls, kids world and all things kiddy at the show. Your kids will be in heaven, and as a parent or carer, this is where you need to stand your guard and remain strong when it comes to the family finances. Your child/children will want to go on every ride, and experience everything. If you're on a budget (like many families are these days) this just won't work.

Those clown stands

Know how much you will spend on kids entertainment at the show, and you can plan ahead as much as possible. Help your kids decide which rides they wish to go on in advance. Don't be the parent that says in Kids World (like yours truly heard a few parents say already at this years show, and so early in the day too) " I can't we've already spent $200, it might be time to go home now" or something along those lines. Your don't want cranky kids on your hands.

A classic

It's a great atmosphere here in the Kids Carnival. The Fantasy Cups take you back to Alice in Wonderland, especially where the magic cups and saucers are decorated with scenes from many childhood story time classics. The Red Baron is a simulated plane ride, helping your child overcome their fear of flying if its there. If your child wants to explore the underwater world without getting wet, then the Sea Circus is a great experience for them. It feels like you're in Disneyland in this corner of the show, rather than being in Sydney.

The Sea Circus

Of course, that rainbow slippery super slide is not to be missed, especially with the disco like ambience at night. If your child loves the movie Jurassic Park, then they will love the Jurassic Coaster. A real step back in time to when dinosaurs ruled the land. Bubbling lava is also prominent on this ride in the Kids Carnival.

Additional rides in the Kids Carnival area include Samba Balloons, Carousel, Family Log Flume, Free Fall, Elephant Jet, Mini Chairs, Wave Swinger, Wacky Worn Family Coaster, Surf's Up, Kite Flyer, Wild Raft and the Rockin Tug. A kids paradise of charm.
