Description:
Set on 60 hectares of bushland, Lake Parramatta Reserve is just a stone's throw from the hustle-bustle of Parramatta CBD and a welcome escape.
Perfect for picnics by the lake, big groups and individuals alike will find something to enjoy.
There is a cafe in the reserve if you forget your picnic and the spot is perfect for a relaxing bushwalk.
Braving the carpark is probably the hairiest bit of visiting the reserve, because it was made before everybody had an SUV so to say the spots were a bit tight would be putting it mildly, but it is such a beautiful tranquil retreat that you'll overlook this for the peace you can find once you've parked.
There is a playground on the reserve to visit if a bush walk and picnic isn't enough for your little ones.
