Description:
Lessing Park is a great place for families. There's a large playground with two sets of equipment for kids, as well as a set of swings just outside the play area.



The rest of the park is mainly open space, crossed with paths than can be used for scooters, etc. There is also a picnic area consisting of a barbecue and two tables.

Single benches are located elsewhere around the park, such as above the playground. Toilets can be found in the back corner. While the park is very open, there is still some shade available for those hot days when you need to get out of the sun.



Lessing Park can be found on the border of Hornsby and Asquith. The immediate area is very quiet, so while there is only street parking it doesn't get too busy.
