It is fascinating to discover how much kid paradise is found in a two-level suburban shopping centre. At Rhodes Shopping Centre
, it was surprising to discover a number of stores for kids. On the first floor near IKEA, there is even an Adairs Kids outlet - a really stylish place.
On the ground floor, parents you are in heaven when it comes to buying clothes for your kids. Not only is there Target, but also a multitude of boutique clothing stores that sell baby clothes and shoes to petite kid-friendly dresses.
The ground floor also features The Wiggles mini ride, of which is coin operated. There is a free mini playground area where your child/children can play crossword puzzles, and this space also allows them to unleash the little climber within. This is before IKEA even gets a mention.
If your little one is tired from lots of walking or otherwise, Kiddy Cruisers are available to hire at the information desk on the ground floor.
Simply put, I am just blown away with how much there is available for the kids of Sydney at this shopping centre. The centre also puts on some kid-friendly movie events at Reading Cinemas from time of time. On the 16th of April 2014 (as at the time of writing this), a magic movie day is being held at the centre to celebrate the release of the film Muppets Most Wanted.
There is also a decent sized parents room here too.
