Berry Park was created by Mount Colah Football Club decades ago to give their players somewhere to train and play. It's still used for soccer today, but also cricket too, and in summer there is a synthetic wicket in the middle of the field.
The park's facilities include male and female toilets too, while over the far side there are a few seats for spectators.
As a sports facility, by necessity Berry Park is very open, but trees surround it on all sides. In one of the back corners, there's also a walking trail through a section of bush that still exists on that part of the residential block.
Near this park you'll find one of the entrances to Bobbin Head, a very popular picnic spot within Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park that includes, playgrounds, cafes and boat ramps.
