BBQs: Yes. Visitors are also allowed to bring a portable BBQ, provided it has legs and does not sit on the ground. The latter is now allowed when fire bans are in place.

Playground: Yes, absolutely. A great kids playground. Adult supervision is recommended. There is a gate to open and close as you enter and leave.
Shade: Yes. Only in a small corner of the playground.
Tables: Yes. Portable tables and chairs are allowed into the park. Picnics are encouraged.
Toilets: Yes, ample toilets are available throughout Centennial Parklands.
Showers: No. Dog washing facilities are available.
Water: Yes, bubblers are scattered throughout the park. Water bottles are also available for purchase at the kiosks and cafes inside this space.

Description:

Centennial Parklands is a picturesque, family friendly park that is suitable for everyone. You can come in here by foot or car. You can also ride a bike in. The main kids playground (as per the pictures) is right near Oxford Street in Paddington. Centennial Park is based in Paddington. Moreover, Centennial Parklands as a whole also includes Moore Park and Queens Park.

There is so much to do here for the entire family. It is advisable to go to the Centennial Parklands website by clicking here. It is advisable to plan your visit in advance, as opposed to just winging it. That way the family experience will be ten times more enjoyable. This space is also home to annual food event Taste of Sydney. Horse riding is also available.
