Located on the shore of Kissing Point Bay, Putney Park is a great spot to visit, especially if you have young children. The park features shaded, landscaped paddle pools, which are shallow and safe even for toddlers. Bubble beach area, a small river and large pyramids and balls add to the interest for kids.
Older children will love the giant tube slide and a big climbing net inside a sandpit.
The park has a number of sheltered picnic tables, BBQs and plenty of green grassy areas to spread out on.
Parking is available in a small car park next to the reserve, but it can get busy during summer, so it's best you arrive early.
There are no kiosks or cafes nearby so you will need bring drinks and food, however, there is a bubbler if you need to fill up drink bottles.
