Wahu manufacture a number of different water games and their mini soccer ball is one of my favourites. The ball is made from waterproof neoprene skin and is great to bounce on water. Naturally you can play soccer with it or even water volleyball. Wahu also makes a full size soccer ball and footballs.

Water guns are great for keeping children active and cool. Ideal to take to the park, where children can hide behind trees or even at the beach where they can easily and quickly reload. Water gun prices start from around $10.
5. Audiosonic Action Camcorder
Similar to the well known GoPro Camera, this camcorder is suitable for older children who may want to record their action sports including swimming, snorkelling and diving adventures at the beach or at the pool. It comes with a waterproof case and several mounts including bike, car and helmet. It is available from Kmart for $50.
