Description:

Austinmer Beach is one of Wollongong's more popular beaches. It is a surf beach which is patrolled from September to April.

Although the beach can get a little busy in summer, it is not as full as many Sydney beaches.



Young children can swim in the rock pool, while older kids can swim or go boogie boarding between the flags.

Next to the beach you will find a park, with a small playground and some trees which offer shade during hot summer months.
