Description:
It's not an obvious activity for children, but climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge with
is a thrilling activity for the adventurous type and open to anyone ten years and over.
It's a big climb but there are lots of stops along the way so no great level of fitness is needed from adults of kids. (The stops are because there are many groups on the bridge at a time, getting photos taken and waiting for others to have theirs.)
If your kid isn't interested in the history and narrative of construction imparted by the climb leader, the views are still thrilling. Because climbers look out at the harbour, not necessarily down, it's not actually that scary, and people only really have trouble with the ladders (when you climb up beside all of the cars).
It's an expensive experience but perfect for the right type of kid.
