Description:

This lovely beach has beautiful white sand and crystal clear water and is surprisingly very quiet, despite the fact that it is located along the busy Grand Parade and opposite Sydney airport.

A shark net and calm waters make this an ideal family beach.



Walk north or south along the walkway and you will come across playgrounds, BBQ and picnic areas or you can ride your bike along the long promenade.

Children will love watching planes land and take off from the airport. Make sure you bring plenty of sunscreen and protection as there is only little shade provided by trees next to the promenade.

The beach is long and wide, so you have plenty of space to stretch out.
