Description:
Green Patch Camping ground is located in Jervis Bay, approximately 3 hours south of Sydney.
It backs onto a beautiful beach with amazingly white sand and blue ocean.
Facilities at the camping ground include toilets, freshwater, hot showers and disabled toilets as well as BBQs and a boat ramp.
The beach is a great spot for snorkelling, swimming canoeing and fishing.
For those of you who enjoy bushwalking, you won't be disappointed as Booderee National Park offers excellent walking tracks.
Children will love seeing kangaroos up close as well as reptiles and birds. If you are lucky you may even spot a pod of dolphins who visit the area.
The cost of a camping site is $7 for Cave Beach, $27 for a large site and $11 for a standard site during off peak season. In addition there is a $5 fee for each adult and $3 per child (also during off peak).
For more information about prices visit the
Parks Australia website .
As this is a popular camping ground, be sure to book early as it can get fully booked up to a month in advance during the warmer months and school holidays.
