Description:

has received a bad wrap on a couple of occasions. Sometimes it is not ideal to visit a beach on a train line, yet people aren't so worried about this in Sydney anymore. Well, not at the moment - as at the time of writing this. Secondly, that short lived TV show called The Shire also gave a not so good profile at the time.

Beaches are kid-friendly, and is safe. Run around in the sand and build sand castles. The world is a Sydney kids oyster here. Families generally have lunch together at one of the beachside cafes, or on the grass or picnic table areas at the nearby park.

The vibe is good. The area is laid back. Is sometimes referred to as the Gold Coast of Sydney - especially due to the high rise apartments nearby. One spacious beach for the kids of Sydney to play in and to enjoy.
