Description:
It requires a drive down a bit of a windy road, but on the border of Hornsby and Westleigh is a park with a history. It was where the creator of the popular Ginger Meggs cartoon character used to play when he was a kid.

Unfortunately, James C. Bancks has passed away now, but the park still exists and was bestowed with its current name in 1997. Today it has quite good play equipment (definitely more modern equipment than he would have been used to), a big sheltered table, a bike track and a lot of open space.
