The open space for running around, chilling out and for picnics.
Description:
Gladstone Park is the ideal park for a family picnic. Many young mums with babies in their prams like to chill out here. There is a bowling club (lawn bowls) situated right inside the park. The latter venue (outdoor area) is ideal for kids birthday parties. Many parents have been known to hire jumping castles to use in this space with much success.
Lovely
The play equipment includes the usual swings and slippery dips, and there is a full basketball court to use. The playground area enjoys slight glimpses of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Otherwise, there is ample grassed areas for kids to run around in and play. To play tips or whatever else takes their fancy.
If your child/children happen to attend the two primary schools nearby, then chances are they'll be taken to this park to play during school hours.
