At a Glance: Like a gorgeous mini child care centre. Children can play, read, explore, do puzzles, crafts, look at X-rays and explore what's in the tunnels. Children must be supervised at all times.
Explore and discover in the special pods
Lots of puzzles, games and activities to do on each of the tables.
Cost: children under 5 years are free, adult entry from $12 including entry into the museum itself.
Opening Times: 9:30-5:00pm everyday except Christmas Day.
Playground: fully indoors and air conditioned. Kids chairs and large soft pillows are available to sit on. Baby play area is also included.

Toilets: close by and the baby play area has a nappy change table.
Age Suitability: 0-5 years
Parking: Public transport is your best bet. Pram parking is available.
Description: Visitors to the museum can have a break and a rest whilst their children explore this gorgeous play area. This isn't your average play area with slides and swings this is all about reading, exploring and doing fun activities together. Read some stories, explore each little hidey hole, dress up, do some craft, check out some animal x-rays and all the puzzles. Bottle Warmers are also available. Search and discover Birthday parties are also available with different themes to choose from. Pre-schools can also hire this area for up to 20 children for an hour.
