Little Kickers

Fairfield offers budding soccer and football players an entertaining opportunity to develop sporting social and life skills through games and imaginative play.



Focussing on children aged 18 months to 7 years, the classes are broken up into different levels

- Little Kicks: 18 - 27 months
- Junior Kickers: 2 - 3.5 years
- Mighty Kickers: 3.5 - 5 years
- Mega Kickers: 5 - 7 years

Although does not guarantee soccer fame, it instill confidence, co-ordination, control and sense of camaraderie amongst boys and girls.

Team play and working together is a key part of every session. Their "Buried Treasure" game is a great example of how these skills are developed and involves the children following instructions to work together to recapture the treasure (the soccer balls) off the naughty pirate (the coach).



All sessions are fully inclusive and they welcome children of different ages, gender, ethnicity and background and their games are tailored to help develop children's understanding of the world around them and to increase knowledge of other cultures. One example is a "Holiday Game", where children use their imagination to dribble soccer balls to different countries and find out lots of exciting things about that particular nation.

Fairfield has been running soccer classes and is about to add Little Rugby to its sessions.
