Description:
The
offers a chance for kids to climb part of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and look at the sights of Sydney Harbour, including attractions like
Luna Park and the
Sydney Opera House , while
Dawes Point Park is directly underneath.
It's an exciting idea, though the reality isn't entirely child-friendly. Because there's no access to the pylon from anywhere other than the pedestrian walkway on the bridge, there's a lot of walking to get there, and then a lot of stairs inside. Information and artefacts along the way might interest adults, but shouldn't occupy kids for long (there's not much to actually do). Images of Sydney's past and the construction of the bridge are impressive however.
