Description:
Ramsgate is an unpatrolled beach of Botany Bay. The waves are small enough for kids to enjoy, but you do need to stay close because they can be a bit rough for younger kids.

There are lots of shells on the sand for children to collect.

The northern end of the beach is a little more protected so younger swimmers tend to gather there.

With lots of room to spread out, you shouldn't have much trouble getting a relatively private spot on the sand.
