Top Kid Friendly Places in Rozelle

You're only about five minutes by bus from the city, and suddenly when you're heading in the western direction, you will find yourself in trendy and cool Rozelle. A great area for professionals, young people and families to live in. More so, the area has developed their parks, and many of their cafes and coffee shops have toys and other fun goodies for the kids to play with.



The most developed play land would have to be the Constellation Playground at King George Park , right near the Iron Cove Bridge. The kids in the area lost their park for a while, and while the second bridge was being constructed, yet there is now an abundance of play equipment available, including some sand. This area is also fantastic for birthday party celebrations and family picnics, with a couple of coin operated BBQ's. Ever so popular on the weekends, super quiet during the week in non-school holiday periods.

Furthermore, the fitness section a little further down (made out of wood) is equally as popular among adults and kids alike. Further down again, there is a long jump pit that the local little athletics club uses during the athletics season, yet is just as great for kids jumping in and out of, as well as building sandcastles in. Their dogs love running in it too. Apart from little athletics, this park is also host to some kids soccer events. The concrete track is also kid friendly for bike riding purposes.



Easton Park has a kid friendly playground, with an idiot proof gate. The play equipment is new, and their rest rooms nearby are rather colourful, well painted.



Although a smaller park in the area, O'Connor Reserve is also a great, kid friendly park with the well maintained iconic swings, monkey bars and slippery sides, with an older play area in another section. There are four different streets you can enter this park from, including from busy Victoria Road.



In terms of cafes, popular Rosebud Restaurant & Bar is a great kid friendly play space with bucket of toys available for kids to enjoy. Expect to see an abundance of prams while parents are enjoying some brunch here. Its all great.
